Dr. Reza Pourshadi
Dr. Reza Pourshadi graduated from the University of Western Ontario (Ontario, Canada) in 1993 with a bachelor degree in microbiology and immunology. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York in 1999.
Dr. Pourshadi is married and has an 13 year old son. In his 25 years of practice, Dr. Pourshadi has devoted his passion and energy to providing his community with quality chiropractic care.
Beyond private practice, Dr. Pourshadi does public lectures, workshops, and volunteers at sports and social events. He’s an active member of Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and Medford Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Pourshadi uses a ‘whole person approach’. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Pourshadi is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Along with spinal manipulation, Dr. Pourshadi uses Flexion-Distraction Technique, Thompson Technique, Activator, and Active Release Technique (ART).
Caleb Hung
Acupuncturist
Caleb Hung is board-certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology with the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and holds masters degrees in oriental medicine and chemical engineering. Caleb clinical expertise includes fertility, stress/anxiety/sleep disorder, musculoskeletal pain, men and women health issues, cardiac related complaints, and digestive support and wellness. Caleb Hung is a patient-centered acupuncturist and individualizes each person’s treatment to meet their unique goals.
Josie Sarni
Massage Therapist
Josie Sarni is a licensed massage therapist who has been in practice over 4 years. She graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in Somerville MA, where she completed a comprehensive program covering several varieties of massage. She combines elements of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage to relax her clients and break down the tight and restricted tissues that cause discomfort and stress.
Josie continued her education after her graduation acquiring additional expertise and offering her clients services such as cupping, hot stone massage, and manual drainage massage, a technique she studied at her native country, Brazil.
Josie is passionate about putting her clients in a state of relaxation as well as assisting them with pain management. She is committed to provide personalized care to each client, tailoring her treatments to address specific concerns and promote relaxation and healing.
